LightPro Expo!

I had the pleasure of spending last week in beautiful Captiva Island, FL for a photography lighting workshop. Please be patient with me, as I have a lot of catch up to do on email replies, etc. In the meantime, please enjoy some of the pics from my week:

This is my friend & roommate, Barbi, a photographer from Va. That's also her in the sillouette...

Not only did we get to go on sunrise/sunset shoots with models and helpful coaches, we also were able to check out models and photograph them in the shooting lab. They had 16 stations set up with lights, backdrops & the works. Here were some of my images...

Lana Banana & Lil' Boo

For those of you who hadn't figured it out, I have someone new helping me out at the studio! This is Lana and her precious little one, Aaron, who comes to work with her. So what do we do in our spare time? Take cute pictures, of course!

On the Beach...

After several rescheduled sessions (my fault ~ I sprained my ankle!) I finally made it to the beach to take pictures of this couple. M told me all she wanted was pictures of them walking on the beach with their dogs. I think we got it covered, and got some really fun shots as well.

Worth the Wait!

I had a friend purchase a gift certificate for a baby shower quite some time ago, but it was never used. Mom finally came in last week ~ she was waiting for the baby to get old enough to sit up for pictures. Boy, was she ever worth the wait! Isn't she precious?! Big sister is adorable too!

Growing like Weeds!

The last time I photographed these little cuties I was still working out of my home and the little one was a newborn! My have they grown! And I have discovered the power of lollipops. Sometimes a phototographer's gotta do what a photographer's gotta do... BRIBE.
